After relating a surprisingly negative shopping experience, I am most pleased to say that the current owner, Rodney, reached out to us to resolve the issue we had last weekend.
We had been contacted, too, by the store manager but unfortunately our schedules did not allow a connect.

My husband just returned with a fresh litre of 'the' red which I am happy to say matches our True North mug and which we had envisioned for our iconic Muskoka chairs.

A not so good experience has been turned around... the essence of true customer service.

Rodney, so happy that *you* still have it right and are continuing the tradition of knowledgeable service focused on customer satisfaction began by your previous generation's beginnings as Bramalea Paint and Wallpaper.

*I am stunned to say after 40 plus years of shopping at Bramalea Paint and Wallpaper (Torbram) that we just received what is possibly the absolute worst customer service ever.
My husband just bought paint for a muskoka chair. He took in a mug for colour matching as we wanted a true Canadian red.
Applied over Fresh Start primer. What we got is almost a coral....definitely NOT the red of the mug.
He went back with one of the slats from the chair to show the outcome alongside the True North mug which was used for the match.
He was told it cannot be retinted nor would they replace.
Give it another coat, she suggested or...
We would have to buy a new liter of paint at $37.99.
In other words...too bad, so sad...our mistake but it will cost us.
They say all good things must end....such is our days of shopping at Bramalea Paint. We'll miss the good old days of friendly, customer service that Dave and his wife delivered EVERY time.

The staff here are incredibly helpful and really pleasant to shop with. Their location is under major renovations. Products are split between stores (within the same plaza) but you wouldnt even know it because of how helpful their staff was for me. Definitely will be going back to their location. I'm very happy with their service today!!!
