This is our second time going through the process of getting a permit for my basement renovations. The first permit was for basement finish; this time around we went with the advised provided by our architect for two unit dwelling. Our experience from the beginning to the end has been nothing but profession and pleasant one. All inspectors who came for inspections were knowledgeable and always willing to provide guidelines to ensure renovation work is safe and compliance to Ontario building code.
