“My children have been going to Songbirds Montessori School since September 2018 and I am very pleased with the school and I'm very happy with their teachings. Being an educator myself I know how important it is to have a strong foundation for children's education in the early years of their lives and this school provides just that. They have dedicated teachers who care about the education of their students. Ms. Simona, the school supervisor, (James Potter location)I have gotten to know over the period of 2 years and I can genuinely say that she is very helpful and a very humble individual. She cares for each and every one of her students and parents. The classroom teachers always greet the students and parents with a smile on their faces and are always available to answer questions. “It was a great experience, I did my English credit and the teachers have helped me to reach and accomplish my goal. Going forward about the staff they are great people, always helping and teaching you without any difficult and trying to make you understand the concept way. The work and assignments that were given was fairly simply and well understandable making you learn in a fast and easy way. The price that I got was great and good compared to the other private schools. I do recommend to others who are looking forward to get there high school credits. :)”

“The staff is great in terms of academics. I've been satisfied with the teachers and their interest in helping my daughter gain the confidence to reach her full potential. The Secretary is also on the ball! Very energetic and familiar with all the names of the children and their parents too. I agree with the other parents in terms of room for improvement when addressing bullying and secondly, bussing. The lines of communication are always open for the most part and the principal personally calls home to address issues that your child was involved in indirectly or directly, which is great, but I find the resolution to bullying needs improvement because the outcome isn't effective. I've suggested inviting Peel Police to talk to the kids about bullying a few years ago, but I haven't heard anything further. In terms of bussing, walking 43 minutes to school shouldn't be expected in this day and age of any elementary student. According to Google Maps we live over 2k, however, based on the school boards mapping system we live slightly under 2k and their suggested walking route doesn't include a traffic light, anyone taking the school board's suggested route would have to jaywalk.”

“I really like James Potte Public School. It has a lot of extra curicculars to join now. The teachers have changed a little, and my teacher is great. Im in grade 5 so this is my last year here. Im going to miss this school ALOT. Honestly this school has improved alot too.”

The classes and special vocal exercises are truly helpful and progress report is created for every lesson, so you can keep track of your learning. “The school has improved. Just what I hate is that the uniforms cost a lot of money. That’s the only thing I hate. But otherwise it’s one of the best schools I’ve been to. All students are neat and inclusive. Best thing that I love about this school is that they always stop bullying no matter what. I recommend you to come to this school and check it out if your near the area!”

“I have used their facilities over the weekends and they are new and clean. Very well designed; relatively new PDSB school. Plenty of parking spots. You could also use the parking in the park south of the school. I am not sure how good the school in terms of education/quality though.”
