“The Brampton Firefighters of Brampton are never congratulated on their community service so I wanted to share my experience with them yesterday. Last night (Saturday) we took our son’s family to the DQ at the plaza at Sandalwood and Chinguacousy. James our 4 year old grandson loves dressing up in his fireman costume (from Halloween) and happened to be wearing it last night. His future occupation has always been to be a Fireman. As we were leaving DQ he started to jump up and down as he was the first one to notice a Brampton Fire truck in the distance coming through the parking lot. Upon seeing little James in his fire outfit waving the driver started to flash the lights, honk the horn and gave a quick siren. They stopped the truck and all came out to greet the little guy and let him get into the cab and have a look around. The members of the fire team were so courteous and nice giving him a stuffed Dalmatian toy and stickers. Little James was ecstatic and could not believe his dream had come through. When leaving I thanked them for making our day and one the firemen replied "No, he made our day". Cheers to the Brampton Fire Department.”
