CIBC Branch (Cash at ATM only)

Went in today for the first time since the Reno. It no longer looks like a bank. The ATM have been lower so likely are handicap accessible but the branch looks like a cross between a best buy tablet/ laptop and a student Rez lounge. There a gray sofa, 5 tables and 2 laptop and a "teller" that looks like a hostess at a customer service desk. The vault was just standing open. I really don't understand the last thing anyone should be doing is banking over wireless on public devices. The teller was able to reset my pin without any issues and was friendly but I feel like CIBC doesn't wish this branch to be seen as a really bank. I would understand discount online bank looking like this but given what the CIBC charges it makes look like they don't want deal with you.

This is my local branch so go there quite often. They are always friendly, courteous and very responsive. Never have any issues.

Great staff and good for visiting Americans. We tried several banks, but none would let us exchange money unless we were members. Not only was this bank willing to exchange money for us, they gave us a fair rate and were very helpful and patient. If we travel to Canada, we will likely set up an account here because they are so nice.
