This man saved my life after I had a severe CVA, he's always friendly, caring never rude always polite and takes time to listen to and anseer any health / stroke related concerns I have. I know and feel very lucky he became my dr/ who took charge of my treatment, rehab and recovery while in hospital and still to this day

I rarely will write a review but after seeing Dr Douen today for the first time I can tell how much he wants to help! He is humourous, knowledgable, spent time explaining things to me, reviewing my previous chart to make sure he was on top of everything! He made me feel so much better about my struggle with severe migraines that have basically started ruining my daily life. We decided on a treatment plan and he told me he would help me and assured me I won't have to struggle with this for the rest of my life. Such a positive doctor! He spent over an hour with me! The last neuro I saw maybe talked to me for 2 minutes and gave me off to the assistant. I am usually a positive person but after this appoinment I left knowing I will get better in his care! Ohhhh and ladies....if he is required to ask your weight for certain tests make sure when you stretch the truth a little that it's no more than 5-10lbs! I stretched the truth a bit to much and he got out the scale to check, uhhh wasn't pretty lol ;)

Very caring. Takes his time and explains everything and makes you feel like your important and takes everything you say seriously.

Best Neurologist you could have involved in your care!a neurologist who is so down to earth you realize if he is involved in your care he is doing his very best-no lip service from him-His heart is bigger than his head! Wow Dr. Douen! Stands apart from his peers apart and above.this is a neurologist unlike any other. He carefully monitors your progress even when you don't realize it. I know he studies his patients charts even when he is not in his office when you are one of his-he cares!
