Ovik knows how to cut and style curly hair!!! I found Ovik's Salon by googling curly hair stylists in Mississauga; after reading all the fantastic reviews I booked my appointment and crossed my fingers. Had my mop trimmed and shaped on Nov 6/21 and OMG I have found my curly hair stylist forever!! Ovik is a very kind and patient person. He took time to listen to my concerns (curly hair shrinkage) and after explaining the process of cutting and what to expect , I left his salon with bouncy (long) , well defined curls. I LOVE my curls (and I have never been able to say that before meeting Ovik) and I LOVE Ovik! :)

My appointment was this Tuesday and I was going to wait a week to write a review, but I'm so happy with the results I had to write one now. Finally, a stylist that actually listens, I have always been so scared to cut my curly hair because of frizz and how short it gets when dry. However, I could tell Ovik really cares about what he does with the way he took his time and didn't rush anything, making sure I walked out the door with the best possible version of my curly hair! On top of the great care he took of my thick curly hair, I was surprised how affordable it was and how easy he is to talk to (I felt like I could talk to him for hours!) 1000% recommend to anyone looking for a new fresh look by a stylist who actually cares about them and their hair. I love my new look and will definitely be back!

First time being to Ovik and a curly stylist (but he knows all hair types). By far he is the best hair stylist/hair cut i have ever had. On top of that he is really easy talk to. He's honest, kind, and all around a good person. Highly recommend.
