Stayed there for an ice fishing weekend. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. would give it 5 stars if there was a ramp to directly access the lake

Amazingly courteous and friendly staff that can accomodate anyone from around the world and keeping a small town feel. We booked the restaurant for an event, and the food was nothing short of fabulous. Great cooking and a great view. Recommend it for any individuals or groups.

We booked a King suite for 2 for a Saturday night getaway from the city. We chose the Ramada for it's close proximity and when we booked online we were expecting a suite with an in room jacuzzi as advertised. We did not get a suite with jacuzzi which was disappointing as we were told one of the jacuzzi suites was being serviced. We did make the best of our stay by using the facilities: sauna, hot tub and pool. We had dinner at the Double U restaurant. Service was slow (there was only one server doubling as bartender) She did her best and kept her cool under pressure. Props to Debbie who checked us in for stepping up and helping out in the restaurant to get things moving along. There was live entertainment, which was nice. Food was pretty good. Breakfast was included, your standard continental breakfast (cookies, muffins, pancakes, homefries, bacon, eggs, cereal, juices, coffee). Great waterfront location, nicely renovated, clean and the king sized bed was comfy.
