Whispering Pines Bed & Breakfast Cottage

Rented the place out for my sister's bachourlette weekend and it was beyond gorgeous. Just walking distance from a little beach you can swim at and an awesome pool and yard. Highly recommended.

Great, comfy spot. Clean and lots of room.

We rented the entire B&B for a long weekend this summer, there were 25-26 of us. Everything was very clean, the pool was -hands down- the best feature on the property and, all-in-all, we had a great time. That being said, there were a few issues.
- Fridge doesn't latch shut properly, was open a few hours during the night and we woke up to a room temp. fridge.
- Zero hand soap was to be found in any bathroom, and it was not mentioned in the "Must Bring" list in the package we received upon reserving the space.
- Faulty plumbing. During our Saturday night dinner the ceiling started leaking onto the dining tables from the bathroom above.
- Considering the price and the elegance of the property, I expected a fairly decent propane grill. The charcoal was great but we were grilling for 20+ people and required the propane as well. It was in terrible shape, one of the smallest, saddest little $90 BBQs I've ever seen.
- "Fully stocked kitchen," even utensil wise, was a full on lie. Broken can opener, no milk pitcher, veg. peeler.. Which I would have brought if it wasn't explicitly stated that there would be everything we needed.
- Hot tub wasn't working.
Other than that, it really was lovely and as mentioned above, the pool is awesome and that is where we spent most of our time. A little pricey to book the whole property but I'd definitely recommend renting a room for a night or two.

Everything was wonderful. Staff all very nice. Rooms are clean.
