J-Town By The Sea

The food and service were beyond my expectations. We really enjoyed the ambience of this spot. Amazing restaurant to take the family out for dinner.

I really like coming here because they have all the special items I look for. However, it has been difficult to manage spacing in this place since the pandemic because it just isn't a big space and they have so any shops that overlap. Could use some better signage to communicate where lineups are and which doors provide access to which stores.

Luckily, the wait wasn't too long to get in and they had a funny little awning to shade us from the sun as we waited.

Bought these for $25. The sushi was very good. The salmon fried rice just has pepper taste. They have both indoor and outdoor seating.

A great selection of fresh sashimi, sushi, donburi’s and frozen seafood. The sashimi we bought was some of the best salmon I’ve ever had, they sell them by weight and they slice it for you right there! The price is quite fair too considering the quality. The staff was very nice to us as well, we tried out the sashimi don with uni and it’s amazing. Very cool little spot in J-town, highly recommend if you’re into Japanese food!

What a great Japanese seafood market Cafe. Tasty choices of poke bowls and Curry tofu dishes. All shops and restaurants linked indoors. Will come again to sample the sushi. Also small seating area is perfect to eat up before grocery shopping. Also found my new favorite pop. Melon cream soda
