Hansin gamjatang

Some of my recent meals have been influenced by Korean cuisine. It's been a while since I've had Gam Ja Tang (Pork Bone Soup) so when a friend suggested I try this new place, of course I had to.⁠

There was a generous amount of meat on the bones and lots of each side dish. As usual, it was served in a cast iron bowl, still bubbling hot.⁠

The flavour wasn't bad but I think it would have been better if the broth had been cooked a bit longer. The side dishes were very good.⁠

The rest of the menu had some interesting dishes that I would come back to try.⁠

Somebody told me that it's the same owners as the previous business in this space. Unfortunately, the furniture shows the wear, with torn upholstery.

First time here at this restaurant cause it had a 5 star rating. I was really impressed with the food. Service was friendly. 5 star rating is well deserved. The soon tofu was so good. It's a must have.

I took my friend here who is really obsessed with Gamjatang. He fell in love with this place. Firstly, we ordered large sized Gamjatang and it was enough enough. I never had this real large size of gamjatang in GTA area. The taste was also authentic and amazing. Secondly, the owner was really nice and welcoming us. I have been a lot of restaurants in Toronto, but here is the best one so far. Especially, if you wanted to have Korean food I would definitely recommend here. If you are a fan of spicy, Makchang Sundae will be the one of options for you. Really morish! A good combination of sweet and spicy. 사장님 콜라서비스도 감사했습니다!

Food is really delicious, friendly people there!

I am so glad that I found a great Korean restaurant near my place. Generous portion, affordable price, and amazing taste. Highly recommended!
