“After looking at their interesting menu, we decided to visit this place, only to realize it was in part of Markham I never knew existed. Nice restaurant with a small patio. Portion sizes were huge for the price charged. The Tandoori chicken was bit under seasoned, but all the other items were super tasty. They have a very good selection (and prices) for breakfast and lunch too. Worth a try if you are in the area.”

“It is our first time there. We ordered the curry chicken. I so love it. The curry chicken has the pineapple and bamboo shoot, it is very tasty. We also ordered the rice in a pot. I really like it, as the bottom of the rice was not oily but very crispy. The meal came with the soup. I love the soup. It has lot of vegetables in the soup. Just love it very much. We also ordered the baked pork chop in tomato sauce. This one we found the sauce a bit too sweet, which we don't like it much. The pork chop was thick, juicy and lean, but it would be perfect if the fat around it was trimmed, Overall we enjoy eating there, the person who served us was very nice. I definitely will go again to try their breakfast and tea. I recommend this restaurant to my friends.”

“Picked up an all day special jerk chicken and a fried curry chicken roti for lunch. The portion was so generous for the all day special which came with 3 pieces of chicken, a mound of rice and coleslaw plus a drink. The food was tasty and if you can handle some spice, get their hot sauce on the side! The curry chicken puff was good too but I think it could use a bit more salt and more aromatics for my own taste. “Came here during their opening weekend and sharing my experience based on this visit. During their opening weekend, they are offering a really sweet deal so I definitely can't say no to checking this restaurant out. It was a rainy, cold Sunday so a hot pot of rice noodle soup is a no brainer. When I got here, the line was long, which is expected. Great minds think alike. The wait to get a table was long, waited over an hour. Normally this is unacceptable but again, it's opening weekend. I'll start with the restaurant itself. The location is easily accessible. It's in the corner of a section in this plaza. The interior is also spacious with lots of seats. The service was extremely fast. We got our food in no time at all. I guess they want to keep the guests moving. Now for the food, can't complain. The broth is what you would expect from these restaurants. The tomato was savoury and flavourful. The appetizers were also good. The popcorn chicken was decent sizes and had a good amount of saltiness. They were also generous on the Taiwanese Sausage, good amount of size and location. One thing also worth mentioning is the Broth is boiled for 12 hours, which I jokingly say that it's not fresh since it's from yesterday. But in all seriousness, it truly enhances the flavour. Overall, I enjoyed my visit here today and wish them well overtime. Now that winter is coming, I recommend to keep this place in your radar for food that warms you up.”

“Edit - Went back again, they were super stingy on the portions this time and they even have me the wrong sauce. -1 star..... Original -Super friendly staff. Generous portions. I'm impressed how she managed to put so much toppings into the burrito wrap and close it. Got the bean burrito, got a bunch of different sauces. Was very good and will come back. This location is new, and its super clean. Will definitely be back for lunch soon! Oh and, I didnt see it on the boards but they do that vegan options (the crumbled soy, that resembles ground meat)”

“Came here during weekdays lunch and dinner within a week. They are very busy during my visits. Parking lot is small but I manage to find a parking spot without any problems. They have a self serve system to line up when the restaurant is full. You register with your phone number and when a table is ready for you, they will text you. Food quality is above average in my opinion. I ordered their raw beef salad (first time trying a raw beef salad) and it was great. Price is fair and portion is above average. Services is great but they are too busy to give you 100% attention. It worth a try!”

“We went to the restaurant on a Friday night around 7pm, it was busy but it was a short wait for us to get a table. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, and the service was good. We ordered Rose marinated tomatoes, deep fried intestine, Red Vinasse fried chicken, Taiwan clear beef soup bowl. The portion was not large, but enough for the two of us. The food quality was good, and both the fried dishes were crispy and hot. The Taiwan clear beef soup bowl was a bit disappointing, the beef ribs were nice and soft, the corn was sweet, and the tofu was nice as well... The soup base was salty and did not have much beef taste. The best dish was the Rose marinated tomatoes, it was refreshing and tasty, definitely worth trying. The bill for our meal came to around $75, they offer a 10% discount if you pay by cash. Overall a good dining experience.”

“A pleasant surprise! I came here not by choice but by convenience, because the restaurant I planned to go was closed. This was the first time I tried rice noodle of western china cuisine in Ontario and did not know what to expect. I was greeted by a smiling waitress at the door and was escorted to my table. When asked, she recommended Today's (Wednesday's) lunch Special with drink for $9.99 and mentioned Thursday's Special was also available. I chose Thursday's. Sooner than expected, she brought a tray with 12 ingredients, a bowl of rice noodle and a can of coke, followed by a bowl of sizzling beef bone soup. Excellent food presentation for this price range! I asked the waitress how to eat the noodle. She patiently introduced each ingredient, asked whether I wanted it and gently put each desirable ingredient into the soup for me. She also told me that I could order as much noodle as I could eat, free of additional charges. The soup was heavenly delicious! Obviously they cooked it with heart. Excellent service, excellent food presentation and excellent cooking! Worth more than the price I paid. The waitress deserved a generous tip too. I would recommend it.”

“We visited King Square and basically walked the whole mall. We walked by Fried A Chicken and the menu looked delicious so we gave it a try. We ordered popcorn chicken and paid and was told to wait about 15 to 20 minutes. They had a cute wall and made the store decor stand out. Once we got our order the smell from it was delicious. We couldn't wait to try it, as you can tell it was fresh, hot and crunchy. The portion was on the smaller side but it was quite delicious and everyone fought for more. Definitely will go back and try out other menu items the next time we go there.”
