Golden Star Restaurant

Came in on Saturday and haven't been here in a long time. But I noticed the flavor of the burger has changed A LOT!!!!!! Burger didn't taste the same as I once had. Fries were just the bottom of the barrel type instead of it being full and fresh.

One of the best hamburger restaurants in the North York area. It’s cash only so make sure you have cash with you when you come here. The restaurant itself has a retro vibe.

Decided to try an “institution” of this area as one of my friend puts it. I see why the place draws rave reviews. The burger was beyond juicy with the staff helping patrons pick and choose how they want the burger. The burger done throw back style, I devoured so quickly that there was very less time to take any pictures. The combos come with french fries but I would recommend substituting for onion rings as the fries were plentiful but not anything special. Keep in mind they only take cash so save yourself the last minute dash to the ATM and carry that cash on you.

I went previously and had a great prime rib roast done rare, just as I like it. Went back to try it again , but they could only give me medium. Service was 5 stars.

A family-own restaurant with old school vibes. Their homemade burgers are very delicious and really juicy. The fries are really good as well. Super friendly staff.
