Leslie Street Daycare

Both my kids went to Leslie Street Daycare and they both loved the staff there, especially Tammy, Rita and Teala.

Some of things I loved about Leslie Street:

- they have always been organized and clean
- Tammy was reliable and willing to accommodate any requests I had
- they followed all COVID protocols
- they plan fun activities for the kids, last fall they turned the playground into a pumpkin patch.

Overall, it’s a small and cozy daycare with lots of caring staff.

We have so many good things to say about Leslie St Daycare! Our daughter started in the middle of COVID (last summer) so obviously we were nervous but can assure you it's been nothing but amazing. Tammy is wonderful and so responsive when we have questions (which is all the time)! The teachers are so caring and always keep us updated with pictures and videos, which not only eases our mind but our daughter loves to look at them at the end of the day. She has been very happy here and has learned so much in such a short period of time. She is always chatting about her friends and teachers, which makes drop offs that much easier. Highly recommend.

Our family has had the pleasure of being part of Leslie Street Daycare for the past 6 years, sending 3 of our children to this centre. Tammy and her staff are amazing and so professional. They have always created such a caring and nurturing environment for the children to learn and flourish.

This is especially true during the pandemic. Tammy and staff have gone above and beyond, implementing procedures that have kept the children safe. We fully trusted sending our 3rd child to the centre this past year.

The centre is always clean and well organized. The children are provided with healthy meals by a wonderful in house cook. The best part are the updates we receive through the school app. We love seeing the photos and videos of our child throughout the day. Tammy (the owner) does an amazing job of keeping parents updated and informed. She is wonderful and always available to answer our questions.

We would wholeheartedly recommend the Leslie Street Daycare to anyone and will be sending our 4th child there.

I am constantly amazed at how above and beyond the teachers at Leslie Street Daycare go in order to make our two toddlers feel safe, loved, and happy at school.
Both kids are delighted to get to school each morning, and the constant feedback we get throughout the day via the school's app is just awesome. Photos of outdoor play and crafts, videos of classroom dance parties and circle time, and even updates on our youngest's eating habits - it is so reassuring to get these updates! The encouragement and support of our oldest's teachers has also had a huge impact on her speech development, as well as learning how to recognize/regulate her emotions.

It can be tough to send your children to daycare (especially during a pandemic!), but I can say that I fully trust Leslie Street Daycare and am confident in recommending them to family and friends.
