I have worked with Margaret both in a one-on-one personal training environment and, more recently, in an online group training class. Over the weeks Margaret planned workouts with a mix of cardio, free weights, resistance bands, body weight, and mobility training that kept things interesting and engaging while creating a fun & supportive place to digitally meet with like-minded people while staying healthy and active.
Margaret is a dedicated trainer and includes discussion on intensity and what muscle groups to focus your attention on during the training sessions along with one-on-one and group check-ins to discuss recovery and muscle fatigue. Margaret also has an uncanny ability to know when you may be contemplating cutting out the last couple of reps and offers just enough support with a healthy dose of tongue wagging to keep you pushing when you need it most - making sure you always feel supported and that you aren’t missing anything in the online format.
Margaret has always been skilled at offering suggestions & modifications to work with all body types, strength and mobility; her “own what you’ve got” philosophy is empowering and translates well into the online format, helping you connect with your own body and empowering you to modify the workout, when needed, to better your own health, wellness and fitness. Margaret has given me the tools & empowered me to carve out the time to make my physical fitness a priority. My body feels and is stronger, my mobility has increased, and my anxiety has decreased, while my energy levels have increased.
Every workout with Margaret is challenging, new and fun! Her workouts target different muscle groups which has been very helpful towards increasing my strength and flexibility. Margaret is an extremely dedicated fitness leader -- always supportive towards reaching fitness goals – while at the same time adding extra inspiration to push just a little bit further!
I’ve been working out with Margaret for at least six months and she’s amazing! Whether it be virtually or in person, she knows exactly what your doing and pushes you to do your best! Give her a try out, you will not be disappointed at all!
Margaret is a very thoughtful, thorough and attentive instructor. Her classes target specific muscle groups and she explains how we can get the most out of our workouts based on our skill level. I always finished a workout feeling satisfied and saw results fast. She checked in with me to find out what my fitness goals or concerns were so she can include components of the class that targeted my needs. Her classes were all different so it stayed interesting. She’s an excellent instructor who’s very knowledgeable, and I highly recommend her.
Margaret is an excellent fitness instructor. I like that she offers multiple modifications for each exercise, allowing me to choose which is best for my body. Every workout is different and I always come away feeling energized and stronger! Her virtual classes are fun too :)
