My family and I have been coming to Yonge Smiles for over a decade when it first opened in our home city Richmond Hill, Ontario. When we go Yonge Smiles whether it being our first day or our hundredth we have always been treated like we were family. When you walk through those front doors you always get greeted with a smile by the amazing receptionists. The love and respect continues throughout your entire visit. The dental hygienists are all amazing and do an amazing job at inspecting and cleaning your teeth (especially Mrs.Mala who has always done my family’s cleaning from Day One). Then comes the famous Dr.Shimi. This Doctor is one of a kind, he has a heart of gold, is always respectful and professional along with having a lot of experience in the Dental Industry. One of the best things about Dr.Shimi is that you won’t feel whatever he does (in terms of pain and needles). “Great experience.. Alison is absolutely amazing and she was able to book me in last minute. I went in with a bad cavity and was in pain. Dr. Shimi examined my tooth and explained everything in detail as to what was wrong and said I needed a filling... he did the filling and explained every process step by step. Kathy, his assistant was so helpful and kind. They both made me feel very comfortable as I'm not a fan of going to the dentist. Everyone in the office is so nice and kind. Even though I moved out of the neighbourhood, I still enjoy making the trip here to see Dr. Chan, Tiffany and Mabel. They are all super kind and caring and make the best team ever! Dr. Chan is very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining things and makes sure you are comfortable with every decision made. I am impressed with the consistency and professionalism of the practice throughout the years, especially even during the COVID pandemic.
