The Doctor's House

I cannot say enough great things about The Doctor's House. We had two wedding ceremonies here. The first was a year earlier than expected due to family illness. We had a beautiful ceremony with immediate family, followed by a special lunch at XXI Chophouse. The staff were incredibly accommodating and sensitive to the circumstances surrounding our day.

When it came to planning our originally booked 'big day', Zoe was incredible and made everything SO easy and straightforward from the start. The team on-site for the day of the wedding were absolutely fantastic - great communication, quick to respond to any questions/concerns. The food, drinks and service were better than we could have ever expected (no issues with any of our dietary restrictions - and we had a lot!). We couldn't have been any happier.

The only thing that was less than ideal was the bridal suite that we booked for the night before and night of. The sheets were used, the shower didn't have hot water (imagine having to take an ice cold shower on the morning of your wedding day...in December!) and the toilet stopped flushing. It was still a great space to have for getting ready, especially given the cold, wet day we had.

I highly recommend this wedding venue.

I have attended many events at The Doctor's House and I have Always had a great experience. The owners and staff are always so very nice and make sure you have a great time with the best high quality food and best company, a true 5-star experience! Weddings here are absolutely beautiful!! Many of my close friends have celebrated their weddings here and they are so satisfied and beyond. The food is DELICIOUS and the venue is Stunning!! I can't wait to go back and have my favourite dish and have an amazing time again and again.

I have been to this property multiple times, with experiences including the restaurant, venues for smaller celebrations and venues for larger celebrations. The food is always outstanding, the staff is always incredibly accommodating and the owners are usually present taking a genuine interest in their guests and clients. Everything is always so clean and organized and the property itself is stunning. I am continually impressed every time I go with everything they have to offer and the lengths they go to in order to make each experience nothing less than perfect. I personally have worked in the service industry and visited Many restaurants and venues and this one continues to never disappoint. I highly recommend adding it to your list options to explore.

I enjoyed my first experience photographing at The Doctor's House the summer of 2019. The scenery was stunning, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the photo options were limitless! Gorgeous buildings and well maintained landscape made it easy to find those perfect photo spots. I am hoping for a few more opportunities to shoot at this stunning venue!

The Doctor’s House is hands down one of our favourite venue’s to photograph at. Every part of it is lovely and photographs brilliantly. It is light and airy, but also warm and inviting. The Bridal Suite is one of the largest and nicest in the city. Our favourite parts has to be the chapel with its gorgeous details and perfect lighting.

Many venues don’t have great places to take photos but the Doctors house is the opposite, it has so many great spots it can be hard to decide where to start. The gardens are magnificent, the architecture is jaw dropping and the venue itself is picture perfect.
