I’ve been training with Ashley at Exerscience for over 14 months now, and I truly believe she is one of the most experienced & committed professional's around. I have seen so much of pain disappear, and my mobility and function has gotten so much better. I went to so many physiotherapist's and nothing helped - then I met Ashley! I train with her twice a week and I really enjoy the variety and challenge she puts into each and every session. She pushes me past what I believe are my limitations, and I keep coming back for more.
Ashley is focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every session challenging and somehow fun. I have seen improvements in my ability to do core exercises, lift progressively heavier weights, and generally push myself harder throughout each session.
Ashley is so wonderful with all the details as well. Mainly she ensures that my technique is always correct to avoid any injuries. Ashley is also extremely reliable & punctual and she is always set up and ready to start training ahead of time with a plan in mind.
I thoroughly enjoy working with her and I would highly recommend Ashley and the team at Exerscience to anyone looking to improve their fitness and overall health and wellness.
Margot and I wanted to write to you and say what a pleasure it has been to work with Ashley Lokhram. She has been especially good with Margot; patient, understanding and sympathetic to the issues that Margot is suffering with her right hip.
As for me, Ashley is all that you promised-prompt, cheerful and always encouraging. Working with her on a regular basis has been an effort for me but I can absolutely say I look forward to my sessions with Ashley.
Both of us realize that the most important thing we can do for ourselves in our mid-sixties is to keep healthy and fit. For us, this doesn’t just mean eating better; it also means committing to the increased activity level we need to maintain our health and we think of our time with Ashley as an “Insurance Policy”. The time and money spent with her so far has certainly shown benefits, and is helping us both lead a more active life.”
Ashley, this is to thank you for encouraging me to stay with your program and not give up on my goal to working towards a healthier future. Your professional guidance and tutoring is impressive beyond your years and I can tell that my goals will be attained if I follow your instructions carefully. I am grateful that you have prevented me from going on my own and not hurting myself by working out without the proper tutoring. When I first came to see you I had a lot of shoulder pain and since my job requires me to use my arms I wasn’t sure if anything would be the right fit since I didn’t want to be tired for work! I didn’t realize how little ankle and hip mobility I had, and after meeting Ashley I realized that my imbalances were hindering my ability to live healthily and pain free. After doing many assessments Ashley worked with me using her many techniques and within a month I had better shoulder movement and no ankle pain. I even saw a difference in how my body responds to slips and falls, there were a few times when I knew I could’ve hurt myself but thanks to Ashley helping me strengthen my ankles I prevented myself from getting injured. Doing our sessions in the morning was the best way to start my day, I would go home from work feeling less beaten up by the day’s physical work. I highly recommend Ashley and I have committed to getting healthy and stronger and will be happy to follow her guidance. Thank you Ashley and keep up your good work and professionalism. Thumbs up to Ashley!
Around a year ago when I first started working out by myself, my only intention was to look better, not for myself but others. It was going well for a couple of months, but I became unmotivated and stressed to go to the gym, as it didn't feel important anymore. My body for those 6 months reflected my intentions, and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Finally I decided to try to work out but this time I wanted to do it right. The first session was hard for me because I didn’t like what I saw in myself; I was slow, tired and so out of touch with my body that I felt so embarrassed of myself, but being with Ashley made the learning process feel a lot better. She encouraged me to keep going and keep working hard, not for others but for myself. She still encourages me every day to keep pushing myself not just in the gym, but everywhere in life. Ashley is not just an exercise specialist to me, she put's her heart into her work, she is so caring, generous, kind and a wonderful person who always wants the best for you. Ashley sat down with my caregivers and helped me express why I wanted to continue working with her; she helped him see my love for working out and how much I was learning from her. Ever since I started with Ashley, I've been confident every day, even on the bad days where I just want to go home and sleep. Ashley is one of those people that brings out the best in me, and I am very grateful and lucky to have found her when my mobility was at it's worst. I don't think I would have ever achieved this type of function by my self. This is something that I'm so happy I decided to do!
Working with Ashley has been a wonderful experience. When I came to the clinic I started with a few injuries and I was in the process of recovering from an ACL tear and due to that I was also having some knee pain and back pain. I was a little frightened to start exercising but I knew that recovering from my injuries were more important than my fears. It was a decision I knew I had to make, and being a mother of three kids and grandmother of four - I wanted to keep up with them without having pain. I was really happy to know that Ashley worked in a physiotherapy clinic before, it made me feel comfortable that she could work with my injuries as well as help me achieve my mobility goals. Ashley always ensures I am doing the moves correctly and reinforces how it will benefit me. She is a great motivator and makes our session's fun. During our time together we have grown close, she has been a great support not just physically but mentally as well, she always makes sure I’m taking the right steps towards being healthier and she always checks to make sure that I’m not having any pain with any exercise we do!
