Son's Taekwondo Academy

Have been training there for about 14 years now. This is a great family oriented martial arts school that has classes for all ages and levels. There are family classes so whole families can train together.

Large and comfortable viewing area for parents who want to watch their kids train. The children who train there show so much more discipline and respect than the average kids on the street.

The school sponsors a major tournament every spring and everyone helps out to make it a success.

Grand Master Son is a world class athlete and is greatly respected among the Taekwondo community. He and his son, Master Sung Min Son, teach 100% of the classes, no matter the age group or belt level. Their programs are expertly run with much consideration given to developing students athleticism, self-discipline, confidence and respectfulness. Students feel welcomed into this warm, friendly environment and immediately feel a part of the Son family. My own son began at Son's Taekwondo as a shy 7 year old who was unfocused in school. He has been a student of Son's Taekwondo for almost 7 years now.... and what a difference it has made! He is now a confident, respectful, self-motivated, hard working high school student. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this school for any child, teen or adult in need of physical fitness, self-esteem building, and/or discipline. You won't be disappointed.

I started at this club 6 years ago and have nothing but great experiences from it. Grand Master Son is an excellent teacher that teaches discipline, respect and love for the sport. Great environment, and promotes family interactions by doing programs such as family classes and annual summer picnics. Also creates a fun learning environment for children by including summer camps and demonstrations for children starting up in taekwondo. Overall a wonderful club and a great place for a child to start up into a sport!

This school is great! Grand Master Son and his son are great with my boys. They are real humble martial artists and not actors. After a very negative experience at another school, we were very skeptical at first. We found the atmosphere to be very positive and family oriented. They are not pushy and don't pressure you to sign contracts unless you are comfortable. I definitely recommend any parents considering martial arts to give them a try.
