I’m a level 4 certified tech, same as Joan, so you can say I’m picky about my machines. I recently purchased a fully serviced machine for my collection from Joan. It was a treat to receive such a well serviced machine.

Her packing of the machine was very neat and carefully done. The machine was thoroughly cleaned and properly oiled and lubed. It was running perfectly. I know she pays attention to detail as she did her final sew test with a different colour bobbin and needle thread colour- as this is the o my way you can really tell if you’ve perfected the stitch.

Although I love servicing machines myself, I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another machine from Joan. It definitely was a treat to plug it in and to begin to sew right away.

On behalf of a friend who brought her machine in. Ends up it was only a broken spool pin that was lodged where it didn't belong.
Fixed same day it was dropprd off. Cost? No charge as I can recall.
Note: this same machine first went to an out of town repair shop. They quoted "$300+" to repair, with a wait of several weeks before they could get to it.
