The Wicksens

We had the most wonderful opportunity to spend a holiday at "The Wicksens" cottage in Barry's Bay, Ontario. A charming two bedroom cottage, a fully equipped kitchen and the most spectacular view of a pond ( more like a large lake ) Most of our time was spent outside as it was breathtaking and peaceful! There is a large lawn, bicycles if you feel like exercise, a paddle boat, canoe and many other equipment for water sports along with safety equipment. When you sit near the pier as the sun sets, you will see the most breathtaking view of the sky in myriad colors, a peaceful quiet environment that relaxes your soul! Loved the holiday and wished we could have stayed longer! There is so much to do in the surrounding area if you don't want to relax by the water. Many thanks to the hosts for planning such a beautiful holiday home! I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy a peaceful getaway close to nature.

Amazing cottage with all necessary amenities. From the moment we arrived we felt very relax, the cottage has such a calming atmosphere. The views are stunning, and the cottage is so cozy and well laid out. Immaculately kept the property with beautiful scenery.
We had a very good time in the cottage and exploring the surrounding area. Kids really enjoyed a lot and loved it. Would go back again.
