Renfrew Recreation Centre

It's alright. We usually book it to play ball hockey on Friday nights. Really the only time I go there.
For some reason they no longer have free play and they are closed at 8:30pm when they use to be open till 9pm

Extremely pleased with this gem in the Frew. They offer all kinds of classes for every age and skill level. Reasonably priced with some options available free of cost.

Such a great facility I almost don't want to tell anyone about it. I use the gym there, which, while small, contains anything any person of any age would need to keep fit. The prices can't be beat. They also offer a variety of workout items for sale at wholesale prices, such as resistance bands and muscle massage balls, and free rentals of snow shoes and nordic walking poles. Definitely my favourite thing about life in Renfrew

The building is getting a bit outdated now but most of the staff is 2nd to none and they offer a wide array of extra curricular activities for people of all ages. I would recommend popping in for a visit if your looking for something to do during the Long Cold Winter in our near future. If you're even more ambitious, sign up to the Bodyworks gym to get your Fitness level in check.
