“I would rate five stars, but I only have had one visit! I found the waiting room spacious, the receptionists helpful, both there and on the phone, and the nurse practitioner I saw was great! I am very thankful for being able to have care at this clinic and with a tele-doctor (or whatever it's called!) I really appreciate how this place, the paramedics and RCVTAC are making the best of a difficult situation in this huge county of Renfrew, especially post Covid. Hats off to all of you and I may upgrade this to a higher number!”

“I highly recommend The Willow Vein Clinic. Dr. Chow and nurse Julie take the time to fully explain everything in a clear manner. They are both so kind, friendly and provide a wonderful experience. Not only did my varicose veins look horrible but caused pain, restlessness and fatigue. Dr. Chow's techniques for removal is almost pain free, just a needle pick. There is no swelling or scarring and the heavy feeling I used to have in my leg is gone. I can't thank Dr. Chow and Julie enough.”

“What a great staff at this small hospital. We were on vacation, very far from home. Being a small hospital, they didn’t have the resources to treat my condition but they still gave me antibiotics to hold me over until I could drive home and see my doctor. dr Owen, the nursing staff, and the receptionist were so kind and friendly. Thank you deep river hospital for taking me seriously and looking after me!”

“My rating of 'OK' has more to do with the fact that a hospital visit can never be 'great' (at least in my humble opinion)... All things told, DRDH ends up being a better experience than most elsewhere. ER wait times are increasing noticeably these days, probably due to the spillover from other nearby hospitals. Very courteous and professional staff.”

“Fantastic experience, I suffered a lateral malleolus fracture on my left leg and required surgery. The hospitals Fracture clinic took great care of me and promptly got me on the list for my surgery, The day of my procedure was smooth and easy. The surgeon, along with his team took extremely good care of me and made my visit and first surgery experience extremely painless and comfortable. I have 100% trust in their faculty and facility. I hope i never have to come back, but if i do i know I'm in great hands! Thanks again!”

“Changed my mind after yesterday visit. Apparently the hospital is short of staff and overworked. Today someone explain it to me few issues they have to deal with. The staff is very nice . Yesterday was the same , but the waiting was awful long . So I give today 3.5 stars instead of 1 yesterday .”

“The day of my pre-op it took a half hour to see a nurse to go over everything but they were super apologetic about the wait due to being understaffed that day and extremely kind. The day of my surgery was amazing. I was brought into my room immediately and very shortly after into the surgery. The whole time they listened to my concerns and answered my questions while explaining all their procedures very thoroughly. They never rushed or pushed me beyond my comfort but I was still able to leave an hour ahead of schedule. They left my IV in till the last possible moment should I need anymore meds. At another hospital for surgery, they couldn't find my surgeon for half an hour, they left me in the hall before surgery for a very long time which I was placed next to the cleaning room where I watched all kinds of fluids and tools come in, and after they were quick to rush me out of my bed and stop my IV because they needed it for another patient. In the end I was so unwell I didn't leave till after the hospital had closed. My meds were also coming to an end and they said they couldn't give me more.”
