Customer service was fantastic. The sales team is there when you need them with knowledgeable advice but no pressure to purchase. A great experience.
I ordered a product and they called when it came in and brought it out to my car in a very safe and respectful manner. I was very pleased with their service. I was pleased that the cost of the item was comparable with online companies but I had the comfort of having a local company providing it and future support. i like to shop local and they make the choice easy.
I cannot tell you how pleased I am with Music Pro. As an ex-pro musician and lifelong gear hound, I am constantly amazed at the "small town" care provided by the staff at Music Pro, even though Barrie is not small town anymore. If I could shout out 2 employees in particular, Pete in recording is outstanding, as is Chris in repairs. I have had several interactions with both over several years, and each has proven to go the extra mile time and time again. These people care about customers, what they are selling and their advice is heartfelt and well-intentioned, strongly rooted in customer-service 101. I will be transparent enough to say this....I was not a fan 20 years ago when I first moved to Barrie, and I would drive several km's to other "big name stores" when needed. Music Pro has stepped up their game considerably since then, and I would highly recommend people looking for good prices and truly outstanding service to come to Barrie and visit Music Pro. I mean this 100%.
I have always had a good experience in the store and enjoy supporting a local music store.
But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE update your website. It is basically unusable for browsing. The entire website need an overhaul to be user friendly on PC and mobile. I almost always resort to other music stores online sites for product information and browsing. I guarantee you guys are losing a lot of business because of the ancient website.
Fairly large facility with plenty of instruments and accessories. There’s some nice things here but mostly seems to focus on large but mostly local clientele of musicians and music hobbyists. The prices are in line with what you would expect with a location that doesn’t have much competition and is some decent travel time away from other options. The staff were Lucid and helpful but I got a feeling like I was in a dept store. That’s not to say there was anything wrong with this location it’s got everything you need if those of the things you need. But if you’re looking for the things you want? You may have to do some more research or travel.
