Battlefield Equipment Rentals

Used them today to rent a log splitter. I had to go into the location to get set up as a client which is fine. I asked for the splitter to be delivered at 7 AM, an hour after they opened. It showed up an hour late. They did nothing to make it up to me. No discount of any sort. We got the job done and I got the invoice and there were two fees I wasn't expecting: a gas charge and a damage waiver. Not huge fees but unexpected charges. They were still much cheaper than Bradford Rental who I used to get a splitter from. Their delivery charge was DOUBLE what Battlefield's was. But Battlefield didn't do much to make me feel like a valued customer and hence the rating. At least apologize for the unit being late and knock $10 off the delivery charge. Explain the charges to a new customer. I will go back if their rates are that much better, but it left a bad taste in my mouth and I won't likely recommend them without reciting this incident.
