“I live near Taylor Park. It's usually not very busy. It has a climber and a small set of swings, with a toy jeep and a monkey bar circle. It's usually very quiet. It also has two soccer fields in the back.”

“Love this forest. I have organized weekly community mountain bike races here for fifteen years now. Thousands upon thousands of hours of trail maintenance have been performed by myself and a cadre of volunteers over that time. It is a labour of love and I hope you see that with every visit. The forest may not be huge but is has the densest trail network of any forest in Simcoe County. On Wednesdays from late April to early September our series brings people together to celebrate their love of two wheels. It's awesome!”

“The trail is a ways away from the city so you can certainly feel that disconnect from the hustle and bustle. Relatively hidden, the path isn't in your face or revealed. It's a nice intimate trail that's concealed through thick forest and has wonderful views as well. It's not a conventional path but is one that is very well situated and has a tranquil and calm Environment.”

“Nice, but icy right now, best to use a walking stick or go with someone. Did the maple route (2.5k) in about 35 min, 2 of that sent on my back after finding the ice. Parking is reasonable, and can be done on an app.”
