The Sharing Place Food Centre

The volunteers were very nice I received more then I thought I would from the sharing place it will last me til I need to replace it from a grocery store which will be about two weeks.

They’re providing a good service. Many people were lined up on a really cold winter day to use their service. Wish it was easier to just drop off food donations.

I could go on for quite a list of the times and people the "Sharing Place" has really HELP OUT BIG time. I would like to sed an extra special word of gratitude to Bruce for helping Me in a real difficult time. May GOD bless them all and Thier efforts to help those in need. The range and quality of the food is that, most could not afford to buy such Fresh and Quality food that most 'food banks' could not supply. I was even fortunate enough to share My story about how I came to be i need of help when Shawna stund Me by remembering My name when I felt like just a number in the local paper when it was still paper. My Best friend Al recently passed away, was a volontier and loved iot and the people till He got too sick.
They "CARE" about People for real.

I've always wondered why the food at the food banks are always out dated or on the verge of being bad. No one says anything because they think its disrespectful. is it not disrespectful to give poor people the bottom of the barrel type food. Very rarely do you see fresh food from all the food banks in Orillia.

Such lovely volunteers. A VERY generous "4 day supply"is given. I'm sure it will last a whole week. Every month can get an another 4 day supply. Great variety including fresh bread!
