5 min drive to beach, 7 min drive to Rama, 0 min drive to lake! I'm from Toronto, and this was the perfect weekend getaway! Only a 90 minute drive from T.O., beautiful view of the lake literally across the street with a dock, beach 5 minute drive away. Down a residential road so not right in Orillia but only 5 minute drive outside the city. Rooms were huge and clean and well decorated - not a cookie-cutter hotel vibe. Service was outstanding - a lovely young couple with great tips. We needed some extra toiletries and got them right away. Had dinner at Kensington Burger in town - delicious! Next time we'll rent kayaks and paddle boards just down the road. Amazing experience for the price - highly recommend! :)

Location was right beside a lake which was nice to look at waking up. The hotel was only 2 floors and my guest & I were on the bottom so we heard quite a bit from the upstairs room which somewhat kept us awake at times. The service was really nice as the room had no weird odours, the cleanliness was good, people were nice, and they left sweets on the bed for your arrival. One problem I had tho was it wasn't possible for me to turn down the heat (was ridiculously hot in the room) because the lever for the radiator was quite stiff and I was unable to move it. That would be my only complaint on the place, otherwise it was a great stay.

Came here for a newlyweds weekend away.Great little gem of a hotel by the lake. Super peaceful and relaxing environment. Owners are lovely and more than happy to help with anything you need and strive to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Will definitely be back for another getaway in the near future. Thank you for a fantastic time!
