“Beautiful place. Even if you go for purely aesthetic reasons, it's worth it. The shrine itself is lovely, and the grounds (with the many small chapels, statues and memorials) are gorgeous. Better still, of course, is to go to pray. It's a deeply holy place. A thin place.”
