“Cheeky Mama is one of the most pleasant, happy, and bubbly persons I've ever met! Her and her teammates at Cheeky Mama's Bakery are welcoming, excited to help, and you can feel the passion pour out of them the second you walk in the door! I've bought a cake, cookies, and some butter tarts from her and was BLOWN AWAY! Everything is so fresh and the crust of the butter tarts are flakey yet sticky from the butter tart filling! They're absolutely amazing! She has them perfected! The cake she made me was a complete surprise, her own creation, and it was WAY better then what me and my valentine were expecting! If you're in the Victoria Harbor area I HIGHLY recommend you check this Bakery out.”

“Go in ANYWHERE with a cheerful attitude and you will find positive things!! I started going there because I couldn't get gas at the ESSO two KM south without leaving my credit card with the guy behind the till. "Listen", I told him, "if you can't trust me to get gas without paying, then I'm sure as shootin' ain't gonna trust you with my credit card!!" He retorted, "You don't leave your credit card here, you don't get gas". I told him three things: I'd never be back, I'd walk before I bought gas there and he'd better take a good look at my face, because he'd never see it again!!! BUT, that was not here. That was the reason why I started coming here and ALL the staff has ALWAYS been more than friendly ... EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!! When I read all the negative comments, I sometimes wonder what kind of people they are from. Is their glass half full or is it half empty. Mine is ALWAYS half FULL. GREAT PLACE TO STOP!!! The place is out to make a living ... not a killing. Their gas is always competitive with any station in Ontario, except Barrie.”

Hearty, home-cooked breakfasts and lunches are served up by the owners Brenda and Gary amid the antiques and curiosities available for purchase. The Village Mercantile is reason enough to visit Victoria Harbour! It's our Sunday go-to for breakfast. Try it. You will enjoy it.”
