Nipigon Travelers Motel

Never have I been shown the room prior to making a payment, this is a first. But then back in South Korea this is what they do with family run business. (The owner is South Korean) and I know this because I lived there briefly. The rooms are well appointed and each room has its own private wifi. The rooms are clean and well taken care off. The appearance of the building from the outside may not be upto mark but don't get fooled by the cover this is a good place. The added benefit is that there is a Tim Hortons nearby and a gas station with a convenience store so that makes it a practical place than Terrace Bay.

Excellent customer service!! never have I had a tour of a room before paying and a quick rundown on how everything works etc. He was very friendly and helpful.
Room is a little dated but still very functional and clean! Also really great that each room has it's own wifi and internet is surprisingly fast here.
Will stay again!

The owner was absolutely amazing and made sure we knew where everything was and the room was clean with everything we needed or wanted. We were traveling with a large dog and he insisted that he come inside with us so he wouldn't be cold at night! Can't say enough nice things for how we were treated and the service we received! If we are ever in nipigon again, this definitely where we will stay!

Great owner/manager who was very welcoming. Room had clean beds and the basic amenities. Unfortunately we heard rodents in the ceiling throughout the night.

The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable, and the Motel is conveniently located off the highway and with easy access to other amenities for a traveller.

The owners are what make this place truly special though. They are welcoming, accommodating and generous. Truly a treat to meet.
