Town & Country Motel

we stayed here on our motorcycle trip around lake superior. the owner made us feel like family!!! even brought out towels to ckean our bikes with. ive been all over the usa and canada and this place by far is the best. thank you for the great stay.

We stayed in 6 motels in the span of a 2 weeks while driving from alberta to eastern Ontario. I feel I have to be honest about a review. The lady at the counter was friendly. It was pet friendly, and seemed "somewhat " clean. But the motel was overpriced and under serviced. The bed was uncomfortable. The pillows were bad. There was one sheet on the bed with a bed cover. No blankets .huge holes in the window screen . Unable to use microwave and fridge at same time. It blew the breaker. So we were asked to unplug fridge every time we used the microwave, I had insulin in the fridge and was quite concerned. However we needed a motel in the middle of nowhere and sometimes you don't get what you pay for.

This place was a pleasant surprise! Great service, clean room, comfortable bed, & conveniently located across street from 24 hr restaurant. Been in many motels and this one ranks at the top of my list! Loved that the room was carpet free and the place was spotless! Will definitely stay there again!

We really liked this place was newly updated, lots of little touches you don't see at other motels, cheaper than motels in the area and a very friendly owner. No carpet in the suites is brilliant! Lots of amenities, no hair dryer but that's not a big deal also very few plugs unfortunately but that is to be expected in motels and most of us have portable charge packs these days anyways. Overall a great place to stay!

This motel was surprisingly good. We weren't sure when we drove up - it looks old and a bit rundown. The reception desk had me a little worried but the room was dated but clean, the beds were new and very comfortable and it was nice and quiet. We had a good night here on our way through and would recommend it.
