I recently bought a house and Dave was able to come and refinish the original hardwood floors that I thought were going to be impossible to refinish because of a really dark stain. Dave was able to do all of this before I even moved in. He was very conscious of the timeline, which I really appreciated. Not only that, he took the time to move all the appliances to get to the hard parts to reach and was careful not to make any marks on the baseboards so they wouldn't have to be re-painted. Also, Dave was very good at recommending the finish and colour. I could not be happier with my floors now. The house has a completely different vibe. Dave was extremely friendly, and also completely upfront and accurate with potential costs and timelines which you don't often get with renovation companies. I would highly recommend this company.

We recently hired Thunder Bay Renovations to do our floors and baseboards. The service, price, professionalism and timeliness were spot on. Dave at Thunder Bay Renovations is awesome. He was very communicative and gave daily updates either in person or via text message and he would always text me in advance to let me know when he was arriving or leaving. He took out all of the old remaining carpet in the bedrooms and family room and replaced them (laminate downstairs (family room and two bedrooms) and engineered hardwood upstairs (two bedrooms) and he replaced the baseboards in those rooms. We are very impressed and happy with the end result. Our floors and baseboards look amazing and the workmanship is excellent. We’re so happy that we are going to get Dave to come back to replace the rest of the baseboards in the house. Thank you Thunder Bay Renovations and Dave!
