One of the best ServiceOntario’s I’ve been to. The line can sometimes be long but I don’t mind waiting because everyone is so helpful. Carina went above and beyond to help when dealing with Estate items.
Line is always long but usually the wait is about 15 minutes. No one loves the dmv but they accomplish what you require
Quick and prompt and polite service by the staff once I got to the counter. Sure I had to wait abit before I got to the counter, but the staff were literally working non-stop trying to see as many people as possible so I honestly don't mind chilling on my phone.
I've used this Service Ontario several times now and it's a really mixed bag. I've been there when the lines were short and the service was fantastic. I've also been there when the lines were long and the service was just awful. I'll relay a couple of instances.
First the swift, helpful and courteous service. I went here for issues pertaining an address change. The line was short and the gal was incredibly helpful when I got to the counter. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Another time about four months after the previous experience I went there again. This time the line was wrapped around down the hall and the wait was well over an hour. When I finally got to the counter I was met with one of the crankiest folks I've ever dealt with at a Service Ontario. She wanted any excuse to deny me what I was asking for. I had looked up the requirements online so I knew what documents I needed and after being told no a half a dozen times I told her that either she needs to give me what I asked for or explain why the provincial website requirements were different than hers. Then she gave me what I asked for with a lot of dirty looks and attitude.
I guess it boils down to if you get the right person you're in good shape. If you don't you might be in for a headache.
