Sushi on Gerrard

First time eating at Sushi On Gerrard last night. Ordered delicious multi course dinners with extras to share. Service was attentive with full smiles. The atmosphere was cozy and very clean. Made my later Mother's Day Celebration perfect. Great value, even better for myself as my son and his partner paid the bill.

First off, I love this place. The food is outstanding, the prices are reasonable and the service is fantastic. The decor is cute and it really is everything you would want from a local sushi spot. So why only four stars and not five? The music. For reasons I will never know, the place has a loop of calypso remixes of songs that should never be done calypso style. It’s like the soundtrack to the elevator ride directly to hell.

But everything else is perfect! Try it out and enjoy :)

Extremely impressed with sushi on Gerrard. This became our go-to sushi place after our first experience. The sushi is very fresh and perfectly prepared, right amount of rice (not too much) and the chicken teriyaki is ridiculously good. We will be back and can’t wait to try the rest of the menu

Sushi in Gerard has reinvigorated our love of sushi. It’s so fresh - in terms of fish and unique flavors. Somehow they make a basic avocado roll and dynamite roll taste delicious. Definitely try the Sunshine roll - it’s like no other roll - 10
Out of 10. The sushi and Torched salmon roll and Caribbean roll are also phenomenal.
