Cute Persian cafe :)
I came here for brunch and the person I was with loved their eggs and bacon dutch baby, I had the salmon and cream cheese dutch baby, and there was very little cream cheese. Only enough to cover about one quarter of the dutch baby pancake. Next time I will surely ask for a larger portion as I wasn't sure what to do with that tiny amount!
The saffron coffee and the cardamom coffee are great!
Front outdoor seating and back outdoor seating look super cute.
Will definitely be back!
Cute Persian spot with quite a few interesting items on the menu. Had the prosciutto croissant, pistachio cake and saffron latte. I couldn’t resist the baklava pie which was staring at me through the display shelf so took it to go. Did not regret. Warm and friendly staff, lovely ambience.
Would absolutely visit again.
We happened to be in Kensington market around brunch time and we saw the sign for Arch cafe. We had the choice to sit in the back (very nice and cozy area) but we chose a table in the front. The table is under a cherry tree full of cherry’s so the ambiance itself is amazing. We ordered several items off the menu and every single dish was excellent. The owners/chefs are Persian and seem to have a background/expertise in French culinary and baking. Both the French inspired and Persian dishes were unique and delicious. This spot is a must try!! We will be back.
I'm only writing this review, hoping that this place could improve!
The staff here are amazing; they are friendly and work really hard! Kudos to them!
We waited for over an hour merely because the kitchen didn't seem to have the capacity to handle our order for 4 people. The beverage and the food did not meet the quality that you'd expect given the price. The latte was just ok. The French toast I got...I was shocked by the appearance (see photo) and missed that the topping was to be ordered separately). I think the main issue is that the kitchen is not big enough for food prep. The coffee shop is good though!
Adorable atmosphere and yummy food! Went for weekend brunch and the highlights were the Persian omelette and the Dutch Baby pancake with chicken and maple syrup. Both were so unique and absolutely delicious. Definitely want to go back to try the pistachio cake, which looked good but we didn’t get to try!!! The restaurant is like a converted house and the kitchen is TINY so I really appreciate how the chefs handle working in such a small space. They have games accessible for everyone to play and a beautiful secluded and shaded patio in the back. I personally wasn’t a fan of their coffees but everything else was amazing so I will definitely go back! Hard to see their sign out the front of the establishment but I would take the time to look for it. The food will not disappoint :)
