Nice little spot in Toronto... Excellent staff, friendly service... The latkes are freaking awesome...
What's not to love?! Incredible latkes, blintzes, and lox. Never had a meal I didn't like here. The best Jewish food in Toronto as far as I'm concerned.
If you love brisket, homemade soup and desserts, then you have to try this gem of a cafe. Warm and freindly service in a cozy setting with great food; what else can you wish for? Reasonable priced and did I mention that the food was fantastic ? Good selection of beers and spirits. Give this place a try, you'll be glad that you did.....6 stars
They comfortably seated all 8 of us for our birthday celebration and the owner even surprised me by bringing a piece of cake out balanced on her head (on a plate of course) while singing happy birthday- it was a real joy. I love this place for latkes and beer.
We went there for Sunday brunch. The seating was by reservations only. Our server was very attentive, friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, plentiful and original. What I would suggest is posting sings so that people know what they are eating. The brunch selection has many hot options for everyone. However if you are vegan you would be limited in choices. There was lots of fresh fruits and sweets as well. You can go back to get as many plates as you want. Tea/coffee and orange juice are included in the brunch price. We had a lovely family band playing for entertainment. The atmosphere is very authentic. I would definitely go back many times.
