Toronto Community Housing

Like most poor decisions made by Toronto community housing(TCHC), their recent decision to switch to coinamatic from sparkle solutions was no exception. To this date no one in our building at Firvalley court has been able to do our laundry thanks to the overcomplicated and unreliable Maytag machines which were installed at our location a few weeks ago. We alll had to go to a coin laundry. There is no reason to overcomplicate communal washing and drying machines by providing the option to pay by bluetooth and through the coinamatic cp app. I have tried washing my clothes using the coinamatic cp app both on an android and iphone. On my android, I get an error that says "Could not start machine Please try again". The machines also does not start when trying to use the coinamatic cp app on my iphone. My coinamatic laundry card does not work on any of the machines at Cataraqui crescent and firvalley court. Toronto community housing(TCHC) should switch back to sparkle solutions which had machines which were far more reliable and easy to use.

Latest Update: They have addressed the issue of the machines not starting. Now they start perfectly. One thing they should improve on the coinamaticCP app on iphone is that users should be able to see the cycle status of multiple machines that they are using. Currently if you start a another machine, the previous machine's cycle status disappears and you only get to see the cycle status of the current machine. I have upgraded the review from 1 star to 3 star
