I tried this place after seeing it on UberEats, and ended up getting a jerk chicken combo with a plantain side. It was absolutely delicious. I'm definitely adding this as my fave place for genuine, rich-flavour jerk chicken & rice and peas. The plantain was tasty and I definitely wouldn't mind getting more individually as a side next time (if they offer?) The rice and peas are also SO yummy! Hidden gem, definitely recommend.
As a born and raised Jamaican native I am sooooo excited to have found an authentic Jamaican restaurant within the GTA. Purity One Stop offers the quality food that my dad makes (it's so good I usually have both breakfast and lunch there when I am at work) for a very reasonable price.
This place opening across the street from my workspace has been a godsend. They are SUCH nice people, they don't know it but my sister and I call them aunty. The food is AMAZING!!!!! The cornmeal porridge is probably the best Ive EVER had. From the festival right down to the rice and peas. Everything is so good! I eat here at least twice a week. That person earlier that said the food is bad, or their plantain was old must be confused, the plantain is always perfect. Period. The food isn't even expensive, you get a large share and its worth every last cent.
Ordered through UberEats. Called to inquire at first, the lady who answered was very pleasant It was quick. It came in a brown paper bag, so you know the food is popping! Ordered the BBQ chicken w/ rice & peas. Presentation was nice, food tasted even better. Think I found a new spot!
