IKEA Etobicoke - Restaurant

This review is not about food quality or taste. It is that during pandemic only take out is allowed, but the restaurant still pack the food in plastic plate, which makes it hard to carry. I thought since I am here, the food is good quality with cheap price, I should buy some. When I got 2 hotdogs and 2 pizzas and 1 cinnamon roll all in plastic plates, my two hands are full. And when I ask for a plastic bag, the reply is there is no plastic bag. And I have to go back to IKEA cashier to purchase one blue IKEA bag, which is strange cause it is a super big bag. I just hope the restaurant to be more considerate, that’s all.

The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor. There is plenty of parking and plenty of seating. The service is fast and staff is friendly. Usually the peak periods are breakfast and dinner. You can find all of the food facts just infront of the restaurant.

Happy to share that they have switched over to paper straws and also offer premium coffee and a very competitive price point. They offer a baby change room and a child friendly bathroom. They have microwaves and highchairs for kids. Overall a 4/5 stars.

I love the food here. Such a variety and so affordable. Well prepared meals. You can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner while shopping there for furniture, household items. The furniture is very good for new immigrants starting up home.
They have a frozen section for fish, meat balls, dessert, candy of a huge variety and a whole list of things.

This is an outstanding concept from IKEA. If you offer a restaurant with a quality food to the customers, they are bound to spend more time inside and ultimately end up in little more shopping than what is planned. I have seen people spending whole day in purchase here. A very unique concept from this outlet. Liked it

The Ikea restaurant is cool. Many options for vegetarians as well. It's a cafeteria style, that is stocked well with many choices for main courses, drinks, and desserts. Soups are available, and these amazing vegetarian patties. Prices are very reasonable. Many items are available near the exit in the store for purchase.
