My dog favourite park ????

3 stars for a few reasons. I like the people and the dogs, no issue there. They use pea gravel.
1-Everyone I talk to at the park dislikes the pea gravel. Alot of people mention the dogs paws are raw after a day in the park.
2-No shade, no water. Hot sun=hot gravel.
3-Small dog area does not have a seperate entrance. You must walk through the large dog park area.

Very large space with separate areas for large and small dogs. Unfortunately the ground is large gravel / pebbles which I don't think the dogs like too much. As well, there is no shade in the area as it is in an open field; extremely hot in the summer and even the dogs are hot and try to hide under the benches. The rock surface is probably also difficult to walk on (the dogs) when it's hot. Also, when I went, there were no other dogs there; while my two dogs had all the space to themselves and it was easy to play fetch, you would like for them to have some social interaction. I met another dog owner walking her dog and she said that she takes the path daily and never sees dogs in the park. Good thing about this park is that it is relatively clean (only small amount of debris and some sticks for fetch), parking isn't an issue, and the park isn't too crowded so it's peaceful.

Large and small dog areas, small dog area has to be reached through the regular park.
Ground is covered with small rocks, which some dogs do not like.
No water supply, and no shade until the evening.
