“This was our very first time visiting the Temple.It is such a gorgeous building on the outside. The architecture is so intricate and extremely detailed.The artistry that went into creating this building is just amazing. the fine details, the tiny nuances, the sheer artistry.Take your time, look around the outside, take as many photos as you wish, and appreciate the beauty and magnitude of this house of worship.When you enter, as is customary with Hindu temples, you take off your footwear.You are not allowed to take photos inside the temple - so please respect that.Trust me, you will be tempted to take photos inside, because for all of the beauty and wonder you saw on the outside, the inside is beyond expectations.It is just beyond belief how beautiful it is inside. At every turn, you will be more amazed than before.There are a couple of gift shops where you can purchase great gifts at a very reasonable price. A friend of mine bought a gorgeous picture book for next to nothing. If I had known how cheap it was, I would have bought several for gifts.They have 'suggested donations" boxes throughout the building. Be a good person and donate something.This is a great place to visit, and the tour guide we had was super nice, friendly, and informative. You do not have to have a tour, but they are there to offer tours, so please accept one.I highly recommend visiting BAPS. You will not be disappointed. It is a Must See.I can't believe it took me this long to visit a place so close to home.”
