Chousky Centre

Ten years ago, I was diagnosed with invasive ductile carcinoma. When I opened my eyes after surgery, I found a tube protruding from my left armpit. The lymph nodes had to be removed. What followed was a trip through hell - chemo, radiation, more chemo – and through it all, I complained about having no feeling in my left arm. It felt like a piece of dense wood, or in a permanent frozen state. No one, from the Oncologists, nurses, or therapists could give me a true answer. Usually, they would recite “oh, don’t worry, it’s normal, the feeling may come back in time!” After ten years, I stopped asking and decided there had to be another solution. This is when I found a doctor who was willing to actually listen to me and explain what was happening with my arm. He recommended a new non surgical procedure. After a few treatments, the feeling was back in my arm!! I can’t thank you enough Dr. Chousky for giving me back both my arm and my life!!!! THANK YOU!!!!

My wife and I had occasion to visit the Chousky Centre for a preliminary consultation. We found the support staff and professional staff to be of the highest caliber. Dr. Chousky in particular showed an extraordinary level of concern in regards to the symptoms my wife presented and followed up a personal contact that was much appreciated.

I went to The Chousky Centre February 19/2019 looking for help with my pain . Dr Chousky assessed me . Then explained all my results and asked if I had any questions . He is very professional , friendly and knowledgeable.
I then met with my therapist also very friendly . She gave me a treatment and went through my exercises , and showed me how to do treatments at home with the equipment .
Everyone there is so friendly and helpful even the receptions (Maureen).
I met with Michael who was also friendly and very helpful .
The next day I had a couple of questions . I phoned and they were very prompt at getting back to me .
It has only been 4 days since my first visit and today I went out and for the first time in years I was without pain .

I have chronic pain due to carpal tunnel from my pregnancy. After having painful surgery on my right hand, I wanted to find another alternative for my left hand. Speaking with Dr. Chousky regarding my issues and pain management allowed for him to assist with a number of light therapy sessions. And what a difference! I was pleasantly surprised at the difference in dexterity and swelling after 5 treatments. I have a few more treatments to go and I look forward to the final outcome.
