(August 19, 2019, 2:09 pm)This is a place where you are treated like a person, not a number - my mother sent me a regular cheque for a bridge loan I needed when buying a condominium; the funds needed to be available immediately. Despite the fact that the money wasn't guaranteed (i.e. cheque was not certified), the manager released the funds right away so that the deal could close. Try getting that kind of service at any of the big banks! And Duca doesn't nickel and dime you to death - no service fees for normal, everyday transactions. That's why they have been my primary financial institution for 35 years.
