This is an excellent B&B near the heart of the city. I had a two-room suite, with full kitchen, for considerably less money than I would have paid for a much smaller room in a downtown hotel. Breakfast always included fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt and cheese, and a main course that varied from day to day, and was served in a lovely dining room. Other common areas included a lounge, an exercise room, and a laundry. I had to do a two-week quarantine here, and think I would have gone stir crazy in a typical hotel, but Annex Garden got me through it in style!
It was the perfect sanctuary in the city. A beautiful renovated home surrounded by nature and, yet, in the middle of Toronto. I loved that my room - The Murray Room - had a simple and lovely deck and my room was comfortable and clean. There is a fireplace for a cozy winter night. A lovely bathroom with bathtub. The hostess, Roberta, made me feel welcome and shared information and answered questions. The breakfast the next day was delicious and we had a nice conversation too. You can have as much privacy as you want and the neighbourhood is a beautiful place to walk around in. It truly is a peaceful gem in the city.
