Local Kitchen & Wine Bar

Kale salad and beef tenderloin were great. Gnocchi was pretty tasteless. I'd give the food 3.5 stars overall. What's bringing down my review is the quality of the service and cocktails. It is a wine bar, so can't be too judgy about the cocktails, but service was super slow, and unprofessional for a place with a fairly high price point. So many other great restaurants in the city so probably won't be returning.

This place has been around for years, which speaks for itself in this city. I really enjoyed the organic Beau's Seasonal beer on tap though they have a strong cocktail list with staples like a Martini and Old Fashioned. Loved the cozy atmosphere and mazing food (I shared the mozzarella starter, a perfectly cooked pasta special and pizza). It's the perfect place to catch up with a girl friend, take your mum or have a low key date night. Will be back asap.

How we didn't know about this cozy place that's been around for ten years, I can't say. Michael, co-owner, makes us feel welcome, like old friends.

Great food, but service could be a bit better. We were told that we had to vacate the table by a certain time which we totally understand. But if this is the case food service should be faster. We noticed the next guests/reservation actually come in and it made us uncomfortable since it wasn't our fault.

This was a great dining experience. The vibe is very relaxed, and the service attentive. The cocktails are well made and the wine list well chosen. We loved the variety on the menu, and having been to Italy seeking the best food, this was a great find. The grilled octopus was amazing, as were the two pastas we tried, and my pizza. Dessert was also too good for my own good. GREAT coffee to end the meal Loved everything about this place!
