My favorite grocery store to buy fresh cheese and seafood at a great price. They have great deals and prices on a regular basis.

Great place ordinarily, but Tuesdays (being the sale day) are usually sub par, and today proved to be one of them. The sales were great (baby spinach for 1.99!) but it felt like the employees abandoned the place.

The produce section was depleted of the clear bags to put fruit in, and the majority of the prepacked salads did not have price tags on them. I felt like I was at a craps table and won huge when the spinach rang in at 1.99.

But overall a great place to shop if you're in the neighbourhood, and I have to give my commendations to the express cashier tn, she was efficient!

Why do they keep changing the layout? Why are the shelves not constantly fully stocked? Why are they out of certain products for weeks at a time? Why do the prices keep going up in this particular store? On a positive note, Maria in the flower shop is excellent, extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The long term staff are wonderful.

Métro on Front Street is spacious, clean with ordinary items but also more specialized ones. Their range of cheeses is great. Their bakery and bread are fresh and obviously made on the premises. Sushi, cooked food, salads are very good too. Since last time I was there, a few more self check out machines were set up. But thank goodness 4 human cashiers were able to deal.with customers. A very comfortable supermarket.

This location is pretty big for a downtown supermarket. It generally has all the groceries I'm looking for but not many speciality items. The best of this location includes the HOT SERVE department, the FISH department (as not all grocery stores have fish departments) and the PHARMACY department (only it doesn't have a great selection of items and the pharmacist are not really helpful).
