(July 11, 2018, 9:58 pm)Second largest land animal in the African continent after the Elephant, the White Rhino is larger than the Indian Rhino located close to the entrance of the zoo. Its status has been upgraded to 'Near Threatened' as populations have been increasing which is a great sign that the ban of horn poaching has made a difference. Their horns are made of keratin, same stuff that comprise human hair and fingernails.
