What can I say about Alexis Lodge. From the first time we met the Director, Christiana, I knew that Alexis Lodge was a special place. She is incredibly compassionate, understanding, knowledgeable, and kind and I knew that our dad would be taken great care of here. Alexis Lodge is a home with a small number of residents (most have dementia) which makes for an easier and more comfortable adjustment phase. The staff are friendly and loving to the residents and take a lot of time to make sure that they are supported and well cared for. We were so worried that our dad would never adjust to living outside of his home but within a few weeks, dad is happy and well adjusted. I highly recommend Alexis Lodge for your loved one.

It’s great place for seniors. My dad was there for about 4 years. We were completely satisfied with their service. The staff is extremely generous and provided him with genuine love & care.
They catered to my father’s needs on numerous occasions and for that I am grateful.

My father stayed at Alexis Lodge for almost 2 years. Alexis Lodge provided care for my him that was far beyond anything I expected and far exceeded the level of care provided at a well known Long Term Care facility that my father was later transferred to. The staff there were truly unique and showed a tremendous amount of patience and compassion for my father, who at times could not be dealt with in this manner by his own family. Members of my father’s immediate and extended family didn’t like how the place looked. I will say that the care by the staff at these facilities is of far greater importance than the way the facility looks. My father truly enjoyed his stay at Alexis Lodge, but wasn’t happy at the Long Term Care facility. If I had known this I would never have transferred my father. Alexis Lodge is truly a hidden gem!

Alexis Lodge is a home away from home. My mother was a resident there upon her passing she got the best care I would recommend anyone to this place.The owner the most warm passionate loving person.The nursing staff amazing. If you are looking for a home for your love one this is the place for them.. God bless Christina keep up the excellent work.

If you are seeking a quality of care like that of your own family, you have found it if you are at the Alexis Lodge. I, like most people was underwhelmed perhaps by the older style and somewhated dated amenities when I first sought our a place for my Father and subsequently my Mother. If you allow yourself to look to what truly matters, the care and the attention you can not find better anywhere than here. When my father eventually passed I knew that he was loved and cared for right to the very end. When the time came for my Mom to require the same level of care God provided an opening for me to have her admitted there also. If you want bells and whistles you must ask yourself... who are they for? certainly not the patients, but possibly for yourselves and that's fine. For me I wanted to ensure that my Dad and Mom were surrounded by love and care round the clock by staff that were more than staff they were and now are still part our family.

I hope you take this Heart felt review and apply it to one of the most important decisions of you life. For countless years our parents yours and mine took care of us each and every moment of each and every day, it's our turn now.
