“Maritime Recreation Hall is a great place for all gatherings. We recently used the Maritime Recreation Hall for our 3 year old's birthday party. It is very difficult to find a place like this close to home plus everything this place can offer and we were very happy that we were able to use this space to entertain the kids and adults. We enjoyed a nice time with our family and our friends. My son couldn't stop smiling and dancing all evening. We had a Mickey mouse mascot, played games and were able to bring in our own food. “Hi, this is a word from a Principal. Lowell Academy is the one of very few private schools in Toronto that DOES NOT give students fake marks just because they pay money. We equip our students with knowledge and skills that are essential for study Canadian universities. All of our teachers are Ontario Certified teachers with many years of experience and expertise. And they are wonderful people too, that make teaching a happy experience. To help our students to achieve their goals and go to the best universities, we have implemented several unique programs that other schools don't have, such as: Credit Recovery Program, Independent Study Program and Challenge for Credit. Some of the students who wrote the reviews here were caught cheating and still get a chance to finish a course. Some rarely show up at school and did not like that we have contacted their parents. Some got lower mark that they wish to have, but did not want to put more effort in studying. The most of the statements are MISLEADING or FALSE. For example, - students are not allowed cells at breaks - FALSE - schools activities are mandatory - YES, because they are PART of learning process, - do not let students go downstairs to eat at noon - FALSE, - the schedule is completely unreasonable - FALSE , 2 classes daily 9 TO 4:10 with two breaks 15 min. each and lunch. 5 semesters (10 credits a year), so you can finish your school faster! - teachers are not qualified and neglectful - FALSE, we have 3 Ph.D. teachers and ALL of our teachers offer tutorials at any time of a day, and no cost to a student. “Went to this Salon on a whim. Spoke to Raji, to ask for advise and see if she could help with my hair and other services that I required. Raji was very helpful and displayed excellent listening skills. She took her time to explain and answer all our questions. When the day came to get my hair done, I was overwhelmed with the results as per her advise. My full head highlights which were there from before were looking very vibrant after the toner treatment she gave it. My haircut was amazing, my daughter's hair also looked amazing in layers. My mom who got a skin tag removed, was ecstatic with her results and is looking forward to the removal of the bags under her eyes.”

All the teachers are well trained and take really good care of kids. My kids love them and always like to come back. “I had a fantastic experience with the infant room at the Child Care Centre on Progress Avenue. Janelle, Joy, Darlene and Kokan went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable transitioning my daughter from home to a daycare setting. They sent me daily reports on eating, bathroom activity and play. They made a point of spending time with the infants in their outdoor area and taking them for regular walks. To this day, the toys, games and activities are the most extensive I have seen in a daycare setting. They also take the time to personalize toys with photos of the babies themselves, which is a nice touch. Most important: I felt like they provided a safe, secure, fun and loving environment for my daughter. I am very grateful she got a high quality of care. Thanks guys!”
